The Amusing Hobby 1/35 Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger (P) German Heavy Tank (35A061) recreates one of the most fascinating and historically significant prototypes of WWII. Designed by Ferdinand Porsche as a competitor to Henschel’s Tiger I, the Tiger (P) featured an advanced electric‑drive system and distinctive hull layout. Although Porsche’s design ultimately lost the production contract, the chassis served as the foundation for the formidable Ferdinand/Elefant tank destroyers.

Only a single Tiger (P) was completed as a functioning heavy tank, making it an exceptionally rare and iconic subject for modelers. Its unique engineering, early‑war heavy armor concept, and connection to later German vehicles give it a special place in armored development history.

Amusing Hobby’s kit captures the Tiger (P)’s distinctive features with:

  • Highly detailed Porsche‑designed hull and suspension

  • Accurate turret and 88mm KwK 36 L/56 gun assembly

  • Crisp molding with sharp surface textures

  • Link‑and‑length tracks for realistic sag and easy assembly

  • Clean part fit and smart engineering for a smooth build

  • Detailed exterior fittings ideal for weathering and diorama work

  • Perfect for early‑war “what‑if” schemes or historically accurate finishes

Whether you’re building a historically grounded prototype or exploring alternate‑history possibilities, the Tiger (P) offers a rewarding and visually striking addition to any German armor collection.
