1/35 SEALS 35-MATTHEWS - BlackSnake 35-MATTHEWS

The BlackSnake 35-MATTHEWS 1/35 US Navy SEAL Matthew Axelson – Operation Red Wings is a premium 1/35 scale resin figure — a single individually sculpted resin figure from BlackSnake, the French manufacturer specializing in premium resin military figures of rare, specialist, and underrepresented subjects — with a particular strength in French forces of all eras.

Operation Red Wings (June 2005, Kunar Province, Afghanistan) was one of the deadliest special operations missions in US history — a four-man SEAL reconnaissance team engaged by Taliban fighters, with 19 Special Operations personnel killed in the subsequent rescue attempt. The sole survivor, Marcus Luttrell, told the story in 'Lone Survivor.' BlackSnake's Operation Red Wings series provides individual named figures of the SEAL team members — Murphy, Matthews, Dany, Axelson (Axes), and Marcus Luttrell — in accurate period equipment.
