1/35 Panzer IV H LATE - Border Model BT-050

The Border Model BT-050 1/35 Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H – Late Production is a premium 1/35 scale plastic model kit from Border Model, the Chinese manufacturer renowned for pushing the boundaries of 1/35 armor kit quality with metal barrels, photo-etched detail, workable tracks, and full interior treatments as standard features.

The Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H was the most numerous variant of Germany's most important tank of the Second World War, with over 3,000 vehicles produced between April 1943 and July 1944. The Ausf. H represented the definitive mid-war standard of the Panzer IV, featuring the 7.5cm KwK.40 L/48 gun, full Schürzen side and turret skirt armor, reinforced suspension to cope with the increased weight, and 80mm of frontal hull armor on late production vehicles. Late production Ausf. H tanks can be identified by simplified turret Schürzen brackets, steel-rimmed road wheel substitutions on some vehicles, and other wartime economy measures. The Ausf. H served on every front from Italy to the Eastern Front and Normandy, and remains the definitive image of the mid-war Panzer IV. Border Model's BT-050 captures the late Ausf. H with their trademark premium features.
