This military aircraft / liaison kit covers United States forces during the World War II era, offering exceptional historical accuracy and impressive detail right out of the box.

Historical Background:

The Piper L-4 Grasshopper was the US Army Air Forces' primary liaison and observation aircraft of WWII. Based on the civilian Piper J-3 Cub, over 5,500 were produced. It served as an artillery spotter, medical evacuation aircraft, and command transport, and was famously used to spot German positions during the Normandy campaign. Its slow speed and low altitude capability made it ideal for close observation missions.

• Highly detailed Piper Cub fuselage and wing structure
• Clear canopy parts
• Photo-etched details included
• Multiple US Army Air Forces marking options
