The C7P artillery tractor was a significant development in the Polish military's artillery capabilities before and during World War II.
Designed by Witold Jakusz of the PZInż company, the C7P was based on the chassis of the 7TP light tank and was praised for its durability, low price, and ease of manufacture. The tractor was used primarily for towing heavy artillery, such as the 220mm wz. 32 Skoda heavy mortar, and was also utilized as recovery vehicles for disabled heavy vehicles. Despite its production being halted after Poland's defeat, the C7P continued to be used by German forces and for civilian duties, including as snowplows. The tractor's design and functionality were integral to the Polish Army's artillery strategy during the war.
