The L1500A Kfz.70 was a versatile military vehicle used by Germany during World War II. It was a light troop transport truck, powered by a 60 hp, 2.6 liter V-6 Daimler-Benz M159 petrol engine, which gave it a top speed of 84 km/h on roads and 60 km/h cross-country. The vehicle was unarmored and unarmed, with a total length of 4.93 meters, width of 2.05 meters, height of 2.22 meters, and a weight of 2,390 kilograms. It could carry seventy liters of fuel and had a maximum range of 370 kilometers on roads and 230 kilometers cross-country. The L1500A was used by all German armed services in every theater of service, including the Russian Front, North Africa, Italy, and France, right up to the end of the war.
