This Germany anti-tank gun / figure set captures one of the most significant subjects of World War II with Dragon's trademark historical accuracy and engineering excellence.

Historical Background:

The 2.8cm schwere Panzerbüchse 41 (sPzB 41) was a remarkable German squeeze-bore anti-tank gun that used the 'Gerlich' tapered bore principle to achieve exceptional muzzle velocity. Using a 28mm cartridge forced through a barrel tapered to 20mm at the muzzle, it could fire a tungsten-core projectile at over 1,400 m/s — fast enough to penetrate virtually any Allied tank of the early war period. It was issued primarily to the German Fallschirmjäger (paratroopers) and reconnaissance units due to its light weight and portability. Available in both wheeled and tripod-mounted versions, it saw extensive service on the Eastern Front in 1942-1943. As Allied armor thickened, the sPzB 41 became less effective and was progressively retired, though it remained a potent weapon against light vehicles and half-tracks to the war's end.
