1/35 Sd.Kfz.250 Ausf.A (2 in 1) – Dragon 6426

The Dragon Models 6426 1/35 Sd.Kfz.250 Ausf.A Schützenpanzerwagen – 2-in-1 with Full Interior is a premium 1/35 scale plastic model kit from Dragon Models, the industry leader in 1/35 WWII scale modeling.

The Sd.Kfz.250 Ausf.A Schützenpanzerwagen was the original production version of Germany's light armored halftrack, featuring the complex curved armor plates of the early production standard before the simplified Ausf.B 'Neu' introduced flat plates for easier manufacture. The Sd.Kfz.250 series served as the primary light armored halftrack of German Panzergrenadier units, and the Ausf.A's distinctive rounded body shape makes it immediately identifiable and visually different from the later and more common flat-sided version. Dragon's 6426 is their definitive 2-in-1 treatment of this important vehicle, allowing construction as either the Sd.Kfz.250/10 with 3.7cm Pak anti-tank gun or the Sd.Kfz.250/11 with the Panzerbüchse 41 anti-tank rifle. Both variants share a fully detailed interior featuring storage racks, Kar98k rifles, MG34s, and tools in their correct stowage positions, with a fully modeled engine and dashboard. The kit uses Dragon's upgraded Magic Tracks for easier assembly, includes metal width indicator poles, and comes with a comprehensive array of photo-etched parts.
